DAVID BAIN
Co-Founder / Managing Partner
David Bain oversees all finance and legal department operations at Saterra. He has vast experience as an executive leader with a proven track record scaling high-growth companies for long-term success.
Previously, David served as the General Counsel and Vice President of Latin America for an international consumer products company and as the General Counsel to a global software company. David holds a Doctorate of Jurisprudence, Masters in Professional Accounting and Bachelors of Business Administration, all from the University of Texas.
When he is not busy at work, David can usually be found fishing in a backyard pond with his wife and two children, out leading his son’s Cub Scout den, or cheering on his daughter’s softball team.
BRYAN DODSON
Co-Founder / Managing Partner
Bryan Dodson oversees sales and marketing for Saterra. Dodson has nearly 20 years of sales and marketing experience, previously serving as Vice President of Sales for a banking firm and leading sales organizations in the digital and social media space.
Bryan is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors of Journalism. Board of Adjustments, Master Trustee - Texas Association of Board of Directors. Serves on the children's ministry at First Baptist Frisco.
He is married with two daughters. After hours, Bryan enjoys coaching his daughter’s sports teams, golfing, traveling and giving back to his community.
JUSTIN GAFFNEY
Co-Founder / Managing Partner
With Justin Gaffney's vast knowledge and experience in the water and geothermal energy space, he is recognized as a leader in making green energy solutions a reality. Gaffney oversees all implementation, ongoing partner management operations and solution technology at Saterra.
Gaffney and his family founded EarthTech, a company recognized as a leader in geothermal HVAC drilling and installations in North Texas, more than 15 years ago, and he has spent the entirety of his career bringing green solutions to market. Gaffney is an IGSHPA certified installer and has extensive OSHA training. He completed his education with a Bachelors of Business Management and Marketing from University of Mary Hardin Baylor, where he also played soccer.
Personally, Justin is married to his high school sweetheart and has three girls who keep him busy. For fun, he likes to hunt, spend time at the family ranch and travel.
